The 98th anniversary of the anthem of the Republic of Turkey
The third day of the week, which was March 12th, was dedicated to the 98th anniversary of the anthem of the Republic of Turkey and to the memory of Mehmet Akif Ersoy. The special guest of the evening was Omer Cetin, the representative of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Almaty. The program of the evening began with the anthem of the two countries and two films about the national anthem of the Turkish Republic and memories of the heroes who died in Chanakkale in the First World War were shown. Also the highlight of the evening was the theatrical performance “Karagoz-Khadzhivat”, which was shown first time by the 1st year students of the specialty “Foreign Philology” –Muzaparhanova Zhanna, Zharylkasyn Arailym and Zharylkasynkyzy Arzu.
