The Evening of Turkish Culture
On 12 December, 2018, the Scientific-Educational and Cultural Center Turksoy at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, with the aim of developing students’ cultural competence and acquaintance with Turkish culture and traditions, organized Türk kültür gecesi (Turkish Culture Evening).
The event was attended by 3rd-year students of the specialty Foreign Philology and 1-year students of the specialty Turkology. There were demonstrated the traditions and dances of the Turkic people in the concert. The evening was completed with a presentation of sweets and drinks of Turkish cuisine. The teaching staff of the faculty of Oriental Studies were invited to the evening.
