On February 17th, 2016 in the framework of the project "Aynalandy nurlandyr" at the Department of TURKSOY of the Faculty of Oriental studies was held poetry evening called :"Мәңгі өшпес жыр мен із қалдырған" dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan and the 85 anniversary of M.Makataev.
