72-hour international seminar on "International modern lexicographical researches" was organized by the Applied and Research Center of Lexicography of Eskişehir Osmangazi University of the Republic of Türkiye from January 9 to January 28, 2023.

The main goal of the seminar was to introduce modern lexicographical researches in the world, especially in Türkiye and Kazakhstan.

In the 20-day seminar Turkish professors and instructors such as professor Erdoğan Boz, Professor Guneyt Akin, associate professor Fatih Dogru, associate professor Ferdi Bozkurt, associate professor Dilek Erenoglu Ataizi, associate professor Nazmi Alan, PhD Duygu Kamaci Gencer, PhD Osman Kabadayi, PhD Ceren Oguz Kabadayi, PhD Ezgi Aslan, PhD Huseyin Kahraman Mutlu and and instructors of the Turksoy Department of the Oriental Studies Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University PhD, associate professor Altynshash Kurmanali, candidate of phil.sciences, associate professor Zubaida Shadkam, PhD Selenay Kosumcu, PhD Meyirim Issahanova and doctor of phil.sciences, professor Botagoz Suiyerkul, candidate of phil.sciences, associate professor Gulzhihan Kobdeniva and PhD, assistant professor Botakoz Nurzhanova delivered seminars, dedicated to the current topics in lexicography and shared with their experience in this field of linguistics.

35 Kazakh and Turkish instructors and doctoral students participated in the seminar. The participants of the seminar noted that they gained very significant and beneficial information on international researches in the field of theoretical and practical lexicography and emphasized that the seminar was very informative.

On January 30, 2023, the participants of the international seminar were presented with certificates, and the professors and teachers who held the seminar were awarded with the certificates of appreciation.

The scientific connection between the Al-Farabi University and Eskisehir Osmangazi University is growing. It should be mentioned that the students of Turksoy Department are currently undergoing an international internship at the mentioned university.
