Students of Turksoy Department at the opening of the first consulate of Kazakhstan in Denizli
I am Aruzhan Amantayeva, a 4th-year student of Kaznu University, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Turksoy. I am currently studying under the Academy program mobility at the Pamukkale University of Denizli in Turkey.
03.11.2022 we took part in the opening of the first consulate of Kazakhstan in Denizli city. Mr. Okan Oguz has been appointed as Consul. The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ankara, Yerkebulag Sapiyev, specially arrived at the opening ceremony. It was noted that the opening of this consulate in the 30th year of Kazakh-Turkish diplomatic relations has a special meaning. We share the same roots, history, language and purpose with our fraternal state, and we hope that this union will be eternal. The opening ceremony was attended by the rector of Pamukkale University - Ahmet Kutlukhan, Akim of Denizli - Sheniz Dogan, head of DENIB - Hussein Memisholu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Denizli organized industrial zone - Abdulkadir Uslu, as well as heads of political organizations. Also on this day, the presentation of the collection of books by Nergiz Biray, head of the Department Çağdaş Türk lehçeleri ve edebiyatı, who worked on it for many years, took place on the threshold of Pamukkale University. This is a collection of books dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Akhmet Baitursynov with a translation of his works into Turkish. Ambassador Yerkebulan Sapiyev presented a letter of thanks on behalf of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
