LIBRARY IS A BRIDGE OF ASSOCIATION OF THE WORLD TURKS

11/25/2019

A book is what establishes a bridge between human values and man. Classic books are one of the best examples of this. Some books preserve national values. Mehmet Kaplan says: "A person who is tired of reading or refuses a book, interrupts his life." This is a very accurate word. Books are one of the most reliable and most valuable bridges of connecting hearts, feelings, words of readers. I would like to call them "golden bridges."

Also, the library’s work on organizing cultural events and leisure activities is a focused systematic work aimed at satisfying the reader’s daily spiritual needs.

On November 20, a regular event was held in the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on the initiative of the professional association of authors of scientific and literary works of Turkey “ILESAM”. The presentation of the literature was carried out as part of the project “Transfer of the value of books which is a spiritual connecting bridge to the libraries of Turkish-speaking countries” (Kazakhstan)

The delegation visiting the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan was represented by ILESAM Director General Mehmet Nuri Parmaksiz, representative of the Writers Union of Azerbaijan Hayal Rza, first deputy chairman of the Writers Union of Kazakhstan Akberen Elgezek Turkestan. Throughout the study of the cultural foundations of Turkish communication, each book serves as a bridge to finding solutions to today's problems. Because it is always required to read, to learn to read the work of leading world intellectuals, representatives of tradition, language, to be on the same wavelength connected with them in unity.

Within the framework of the project "100 books", the event was attended by the faculty and students of the Department of Turksoy, the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi. Participants got acquainted and informed with books in more detail. At the end of the event, it was discussed that, in the future, with the students of the Turksoy chair, joint activities will be organized for reading and analyzing literary works.
