Master class of the teacher of the Department of Chinese studies

Within the framework of the 50th International Scientific and Methodological Conference “A Modern Interpretation of the Al-Farabi Pedagogical Concept in the Context of Digitization of Education”, dedicated to the 1150th anniversary of Al-Farabi, a master class was held by Anuar A. Chinese language. " The master class was attended by teachers, students and doctoral students of the Department of Sinology. During the workshop, the forms of speech on the Internet, linguistic features, the positive and negative impact of the Internet language on the modern Chinese language were analyzed, as well as an overview of the emergence and development of the Internet language was examined. The teachers showed interest in building new Internet words and received satisfactory answers to all the questions asked. The master class in order to improve the level of the Chinese language was held at the highest level and was highly appreciated by the participants.

A festive event dedicated to the 1150th anniversary of Abu Nasr Al-Farabi took place at the Students House of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Yktiyar Paltore congratulated the students on the 1150th anniversary of the great thinker Al-Farabi. The festive event was attended by the deputy dean for educational-methodical and educational work Sh. Kanafyeva, senior adviser A. Akylbek, head of the department P. Suleimenov, teachers B. Myrzabekova, A. Turar and others.

First-year students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Tilektes Nazerke and Aitolkyn Kanafeva performed compositions by Nurgisa Tlendieva on dombra and kobyz together with the Arabic musical instrument “Oud” performed by Kanat Abzhalov. Students were in a special mood when they first heard the sounds of the musical instrument “Oud”.

At the end of the festive event, the dean of the faculty Y. Paltore thanked Kanat Abzhalov, who came specially from the city of Turkestan and handed the guest a letter of appreciation on behalf of the whole faculty.

The musical event at the Student House inspired students and aroused their desire to study Oriental history and culture more deeply.

EMBASSY HOUR

January 30, 2020 at the faculty of Oriental studies of the Kazakh national University.Al-Farabi hosted the "Ambassador's hour" with the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary And Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Kazakhstan, Mr. Prabhat Kumar. The event was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Republic of India and the spiritual leader of the Indian people, Mahatma Gandhi.

On January 26, 1950, the Constitution of India was adopted and declared the day of the Republic of India. And Mahatma Gandhi is known as the leader of the struggle for Indian independence.

         The Embassy hour was organized by the Mahatma Gandhi center at the Department of Middle East and South Asia. The purpose of such events is to develop educational, scientific and cultural ties between the al-Farabi Kazakh national University and the universities of the Republic of India. The event was attended by the Director of the center for Indian classical dance Kainazarova Akmaral, faculty and students of the Department of Indology.

         In his speech, the Ambassador of the Republic of India, Mr. Prabhat Kumar, congratulated the staff and students of the faculty of Oriental studies on the 1150th anniversary of al-Farabi. In his speech, he spoke about the development of friendly, cultural and scientific ties between India and Kazakhstan. The Ambassador also shared his opinion on providing Indian language students with textbooks and fiction, organizing joint scientific conferences, and supporting students ' research.

         Students of Indology read aphorisms of M. Gandhi, showed scenes from life, sang songs, told about the life and work of Mahatma Gandhi.

         Director Of the center for Indian culture.Swami Vivekananda Sanjay Garg expressed gratitude to the staff of the faculty and the teaching staff of the Department of Indology.

         The event, held by the Department of the Middle East and South Asia together with the Embassy of India in the Republic of Kazakhstan, was held at a very high level. The Ambassador of India expressed gratitude for the work done by the Department of Indology and for the activity of students in learning the Hindi language and learning about India, noting that in the future it will help to strengthen relations between KazNU and universities of the Republic of India.

71ST ANNIVERSARY OF THE DAY OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDIA AND MEMORY DAY OF MAHATMA GANDI

January 30, 2020 the Faculty of Oriental Studies, KazNU Al-Farabi hosted a cultural event in honor of the 71st anniversary of the Republic of India and the spiritual leader of the Indian nation, Mahatma Gandhi.
The event was organized by Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Oriental Studies in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of India in Kazakhstan.

As part of the event, January 30, 2020 - the Day of Remembrance of Mahatma Gandhi - was dedicated to his thoughts and sayings. Students of the Department of Indology, Faculty of Oriental Studies read the winged words of Mahatma Gandhi, sang a song in honor of Mahatma Gandhi and presented a scene from the life of the Great Soul.
The event was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Kazakhstan Shri Prabhat Kumar, Director of the Center for Indian Culture named after Swami Vivekananda Sanjay Garg, Director of the Center for Indian Classical Dance Almaty-Kazakhstan, Kainazarova Akmaral, teachers and students of the Department of Indology, Faculty of Oriental Studies.

Presentation of awards to the international organization «TURKSOY»

On January 27, 2020, the ceremony of awarding scholarships of the international organization "TURKSOY" to students of 1-3 courses of the Department of TURKSOY of the faculty of Oriental Studies was held.

On behalf of the Secretary General of the international organization "TURKSOY" Kaseinov Duisen Kurabaevich, the representative in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Askar Turganbay, addressed a welcoming speech. He held an award ceremony and awarded students scholarships in the amount of 1 million tenge. 3rd year student Toiboldy Aigerim gave a speech of thanks from the prize-winning students.

The international organization "TURKSOI" for a long time is a reliable partner of the Treasury. The Department of TURKSOY and the faculty of Oriental Studies actively cooperate with the international organization "TURKSOY" in the following areas: inviting foreign professors, promoting scientific conferences, organizing scientific internships and advanced training courses for teaching staff. Student of the Department of the Far East at Bunkyo Gakuin University

Berekeyev Kaisar, the 2nd year student of KazNU, the faculty of Oriental Studies, the Department of the Far East, had a chance to held a training internship at Bunkyo Gakuin International University (Tokyo, Japan) from August 29, 2019 to December 31, 2019. according to the program of academic mobility. The student got the opportunity to study at a Japanese university on the basis of a partnership agreement between Kaznu and Bunkyo Gakuin International University.
