From November 30 to December 13, 2020, an online seminar "The Bridge of the Chinese Language" was held. The main organizers of the seminar are the Center for Communication and Cooperation of Chinese and Foreign Languages under the Ministry of Education of China, the Department of International Teaching of Chinese Language of the Beijing University of Languages, and the Center for the Spread of Chinese Culture in the World. About a hundred teachers from Kazakhstan, Korea, Uzbekistan and Japan took part in the online seminar. 8 teachers Al-FarabiKazNU, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Chinese Studies also took an active part in the seminar and improved their knowledge.
On December 11, 2020, a regular online meeting of the al-Farabi Kazakh national University and the M. K. Ammosov NEFU was held. The event was organized by the Department of TURKSOY of the faculty of Oriental studies on the basis of the project "Ainalandy nurlandyr" in order to develop cooperation in the educational, scientific and cultural space. Along with the teaching staff, headed by G. Toralieva the meeting was attended by graduate and undergraduate students.
On December 5-6 this year, the international forum “The need to study Chinese culture and focus on the theory and practice of cultural relations” was held online, organized by the Chinese center for cultural communication studies of Huazhong agrarian University, China. The forum was attended by 27 experts and scientists from Kazakhstan, the United States, Japan, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other countries and regions, who shared their thoughts through a cloud conference. And more than 300 people took part through the Internet connection.
