From November 30 to December 13, 2020, an online seminar "The Bridge of the Chinese Language" was held. The main organizers of the seminar are the Center for Communication and Cooperation of Chinese and Foreign Languages ​​under the Ministry of Education of China, the Department of International Teaching of Chinese Language of the Beijing University of Languages, and the Center for the Spread of Chinese Culture in the World. About a hundred teachers from Kazakhstan, Korea, Uzbekistan and Japan took part in the online seminar. 8 teachers Al-FarabiKazNU, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Chinese Studies also took an active part in the seminar and improved their knowledge.

During the course, participants shared cultural experiences and listened to lectures on various cultural topics. Chinese teachers shared their knowledge and experience with the course participants. The Chinese teachers were impressed by the enthusiasm of the foreign teachers. During the seminar, the Chinese teachers noted the great interest of the course participants and advised them to constantly improve their language and cultural knowledge, noting that learning continues even after the end of the course.

The participants of the seminar expressed their gratitude to the organizers of the online seminar, which provided an excellent opportunity to learn the Chinese language and culture, despite the epidemic and severe winter cold, in such a special period in the development of science and technology.
