| The Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies of the Faculty of Philology and World Languages organized a cognitive event "Limits of my language means limits of my world" within the program "Spiritual Revival" organized by 2nd year students majoring in "Translation Studies". Students recited words in Russian, English, Kazakh, German, French, Azerbaijani, Ukrainian, Mongolian, Turkish, Korean, Chinese and 12 languages. Organizations such as "Senate", "Sunkar" ,"SPS", "Komek" and others introduced themselves to the students and held a concert. The goal of this project is to make contribution for participating 1 course students in these organizations. The students of the specialty "Translation studies" have already made their choice. Students liked the festival because there was a cheerful and very interesting atmosphere . |

| Today, the 1st year students of the specialty «Translation studies» acquainted with the message of the President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev "Constructive public dialogue – the basis of stability and prosperity of Kazakhstan" and expressed their opinion on this issue . The event was also attended by the teaching staff of the "Foreign Philology and translation studies " Department. The message considered new ways of solving social, cultural and economic problems. During the open lesson, students showed their position for supporting new reforms that contribute to the development of the state. |

On February 12-13, the faculty of Philology and world languages hosted the 50th international scientific and methodological conference "Modern interpretation of the pedagogical concept of al-Farabi in the context of digitalization of education", dedicated to the 1150th anniversary of al-Farabi. The scientific editor of the National translation Bureau, Mukhamadiev Dauren, made a report "the role of the translator in intercultural and intercultural communication". In her report, she spoke about the role of the translator in the conditions of digitalization, about the relevance of the functions performed. |

At the beginning of the meeting students of all courses and graduate students were asking questions to NagimaZhalelovna. Then there was shown a welcome program, read out some important and relevant for today fragments from NagimaZhalelovna’sbooks, after that students haveacquaintedher with their prose translations, which were made by using the NagimaZhalelovna’sword for word translation. The meeting was interesting, lively and informative. The head of the chair of Translation Theory and Methodology TarakovAnuarSauatovich has summed up the meeting and expressed his deep gratitude to NagimaZhalelovna for her important contribution to the development of Kazakh Translationand for the inspiration for young translators on their future activities. |
