After completing the educational program, you will become a specialist that able to improve professional competencies for the development, production and registration of medicines and medical products, control and assurance of their quality, marketing, strategic planning, innovative development of pharmaceutical enterprises, development of appropriate strategies for individual and collective action.

You will learn:

  • to carry out the development, organization and conduct of the technological process for the production of drugs in accordance with the regulatory requirements of the State Pharmacopoeia of the Republic of Kazakhstan, taking into account the relationship of their structure, chemical properties and biological activity;
  • organize the production of drugs in various dosage forms using innovative technologies, in accordance with the requirements of Good Pharmaceutical Practices (GMP, GPP, GDP, GVP); develop regulatory documentation for dosage forms/drugs; create reports on the validation of production technology and establish stability;
  • conduct a comparative analysis of the most rational, economically and environmentally sound technologies for the production of herbal medicines (phytopreparations);
  • apply advanced physical and chemical methods of analysis for the qualitative and quantitative determination of substances and excipients in medical products, for quality control and detection of falsified, poor-quality and counterfeit medicinal products;
  • develop novel medicinal substances taking into account the mechanism of their action; carrying out the main stages of their production from R&D to their state registration;
  • apply fundamental and advanced knowledge and methodologies in the field of chemical technology of organic substances and materials in to teaching activities at the Higher School.
