After completing the educational program, you will become a specialist in the field of chemical technology for the production and processing of organic compounds and materials, capable of independently conduct scientific research and evaluate the outputs of research in comparison with the best world results.

 

You will learn:

  • Interpret advances in the chemical technology of organic substances and materials within a research context;
  • Conduct engineering calculations of chemical and technological processes in the preparation of technical and design documentation and the selection of equipment for chemical production;
  • Develop a plan for scientific research related to organic and bioorganic synthesis, processing of plant materials, isolation of biologically active substances, polymerization of polymer-hybrid materials, structuring of colloidal systems and biodispersions;
  • Apply traditional and modern physicochemical, chromatographic, microscopic methods of analysis in the field of chemical-biological, technological sciences and materials science;
  • Analyze the acquired scientific results in order to develop technological and regulatory documentation regarding the quality of raw materials and finished products of industrial organic chemistry (pharmaceutical, agricultural, polymeric, etc.);
  • Apply fundamental and advanced knowledge and methodologies in the field of chemical technology of organic substances and materials in to teaching activities at the Higher School.

§  to carry out the development, organization and conduct of the technological process for the production of drugs in accordance with the regulatory requirements of the State Pharmacopoeia of the Republic of Kazakhstan, taking into account the relationship of their structure, chemical properties and biological activity.

§  apply advanced physical and chemical methods of analysis for the qualitative and quantitative determination of substances and excipients in medical products, for quality control and detection of falsified, poor-quality and counterfeit medicinal products;

§  develop novel medicinal substances taking into account the mechanism of their action; carrying out the main stages of their production from R&D to their state registration;
