After studying in this educational program, you will be a specialist in the field of oil production, exploration and development of oil and gas deposits, who are engaged in the maintenance and operation of equipment, apparatus and instrumentation for testing oil and gas wells.
You will learn to:
- develop projects for drilling and operating wells, extracting oil and gas from various types of reservoirs;
- design and develop new innovative technological processes and equipment for oil and gas production and oil and gas transportation;
- analyze the features of the development of oil fields characterized by a complex geological structure, low porosity and permeability properties;
- use methods of hydrodynamic modeling of oil and gas deposits development processes in difficult conditions using professional computer systems;
- choose drilling modes and optimal operating parameters of the bit;
- carry out calculations of geodynamic models of oil and gas-bearing basins using existing technologies for forecasting promising reserves of oil and gas deposits.
