The program is aimed at training scientific and pedagogical personnel with in-depth and fundamental knowledge in the production of products of chemical, metallurgical, agrochemical industries, the industry to manage the production processes of inorganic substances and materials, as well as capable of developing and implementing modern educational methods.

Educational outcome

Upon completion of this educational program, Masters students are expected to be able to:

  • systematize basic scientific and technical information on objects and technologies of inorganic substances and materials production, taking into account modern principles of sustainable development;
  • explain new principles, approaches, theories in chemical technology of inorganic substances, including modern methods of teaching, in accordance with the methodology and philosophy of scientific knowledge on the basis of advanced English-language scientific literature;
  • carry out analysis of schemes of modern technological processes of production, processing of inorganic materials and products from them;
  • conduct comprehensive research and tests in the study of materials and products, processes of their production, processing and modification;
  • solve scientific and engineering problems of chemical technology of inorganic substances on priority directions of Kazakhstan industry in new and unfamiliar contexts using modern methods of research, analysis, diagnostics and modeling;
  • improve methods of control of processes of inorganic technology and methods of analysis of initial raw materials and finished products;
  • optimize parameters of processes and equipment to improve the efficiency of technology for obtaining and processing inorganic substances and materials;
  • implement the educational process on chemical and chemical-technological disciplines in higher education institutions using modern educational technologies and teaching methods, including in English;
  • critically evaluate the latest advances in the theory and practice of chemical technology for implementation in production;
  • manage technological processes in the context of environmental and industrial safety;
  • develop new technologies of processes of processing of mineral raw materials and reception of inorganic substances, materials according to trends of development of world and Kazakhstan industry;
  • show professional and leadership qualities at implementation and organization of research and production processes.
