April 8, 2021 at 14:00 in the auditorium named after A. Ydyrysov at the Faculty of journalism of al-Farabi Kazakh National University will be held an international scientific and practical online conference "Publishing and Media Design: current trends, problems and prospects", dedicated to the memory of the outstanding scientist, teacher, writer, publicist, founder of design of the Kazakh press, candidate of historical sciences, professor Abilfayz Ydyrysov.

The international scientific and practical online conference "Publishing and Media Design: current trends, problems and prospects" will be held within the framework of the traditional Ydyrysov readings. The conference will be attended by Abilfayz Ydyrysov's family, relatives, colleagues, students, teachers of the Faculty of journalism, well-known publishers, designers, students, master, doctoral students. 

Additional information:

 Abilfayz Ydyrysov, a well-known Kazakh writer, journalist, and teacher, whose life will serve as an example for future generations.  Abilfayiz Ydyrysov was born on February 23, 1930 in the village of Yegindisay, Amangeldy district, Kostanay region. Writer, journalist, teacher, candidate of historical sciences. He has written more than 800 journalistic articles, essays, textbooks, methodological manuals on the following disciplines: "History of Kazakh journalism", "Essay as a genre of journalism", "Design of printed publications", etc. Writer Abilfaiz Ydyrysov also brought to Kazakh literature a wide-ranging novel "Tansholpan", "Aizhannyng gashygy", "Berik", "Ansagan menin animsin", "Aksuiek", "Ker buzaudyng olimi".
