April 8, 2021 at 14:00 in the auditorium named after A. Ydyrysov at the Faculty of journalism of al-Farabi Kazakh National University will be held an international scientific and practical online conference "Publishing and Media Design: current trends, problems and prospects", dedicated to the memory of the outstanding scientist, teacher, writer, publicist, founder of design of the Kazakh press, candidate of historical sciences, professor Abilfayz Ydyrysov. 

Scientists will attend the event from the USA, Australia, Europe, Turkey and Central Asia, lecturers-professors from universities in the country and abroad, doctoral students, undergraduates and media representatives.

On March 19, we invite you to a lecture, where Prof.​ Radoslaw Fiedler Eyck, the Head of Doctoral School of Social Sciences at Adam Mickiewicz University (Poznan), will speak on the topic of «China and the United States - opportunities for cooperation amid COVID-19 pandemic».

From 15 to 19 March this year in Almaty, Kazakh National University named after S. Al-Farabi, on the initiative of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, training courses will be held for journalists specializing in the environmental field (the program is attached).

On February 11-13, 2021, the Faculty of Journalism of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University will organize the VIII International Winter School of Journalism and Communication in the online format "Accessible Radio to every citizen and to all people: fighting the COVID-19 pandemic", dedicated to the World Radio Day and the 100th anniversary of "Qazaq Radiosy".
