November 25, 2020 at 11:00 in the audience of E. Shaimerdenov at the Faculty of Journalism of KazNU named after Al-Farabi, within the framework of the UN World Television Day, will be held an international scientific and practical online conference "KAZAKH TELEVISIONALISM - CAPITAL OF NATIONAL VALUES", dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the scientist, teacher Moldakhan Abdraev.

The event will be attended by representatives of the Union of Writers and Journalists of Kazakhstan, the UN representatives, foreign researchers, heads of national media and well-known journalists, public and state leaders, and faculty members.

Abdraev Moldakhan Karipbaevich was born on October 20, 1960 in the village of Tolebi, Shu district, Zhambyl region. In 1991 he graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of the Kirov Kazakh State University, candidate of philological sciences, in 1991-2000 he held executive positions in the republican newspaper "Egemen Kazakhstan", the Republican TV and Radio Corporation, the East Kazakhstan regional newspaper, the East Kazakhstan regional TV and radio company. From 2001 to 2015, he worked as a senior lecturer at the al-Farabi Kazakh National University and was a director of the Barmankulov television and radio complex. Today he is a senior lecturer at the Department of Print and Electronic Media.

In 2010, under the guidance of Professor Omashev, he defended his dissertation on the topic "Oratory of Abish Kekilbaev", and in 2013 he wrote a monograph "Kesteli soz kemeggeri". Moldakhan Karipbaevich is the author and editor-director of such documentary films as "Askarov Koltangbasy", "Eki Kenen Tumaydy", "Bilim Kenen Tumaydy", "Aigap" tuganyna 140 zhyl toluyna orai, "Ult sanasynyk zergeri", "ustazdyk biik tulgasy" (Salyk Zimanov turaly), "uz Nauryz atty bolsyn!" (Abdimanuly - 60 zhas", "Kalymnyk dara tulgasy "(Abdezuly - 60 zhas)", “80 years of success of KazNU", "Star year of KazNU 2013", "Anniversary year of KazNU 2014", "KazNU university of the XXI century " “Tulekter 2015".

M. Abdraev is the author of the textbooks "Kesteli soz kemenger", "Television broadcasting technology", "The intellectual structure of television journalism".
