On October 29, 2020 at 11.00, an online conference "NATIONAL JOURNALISM: RESEARCH AND PROBLEMS OF EDUCATION" will be held in the E. Shaimerdenov auditorium of the faculty of journalism of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in honor of the 70th anniversary of Namazaly Omashevich Omashev, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Director of the Institute of Journalistic Research.

The conference will host a presentation of a book dedicated to Namazal Omashevich, published by the Academic Council of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi in the framework of the series "Onegeli omir". There will also be a special exhibition of the scientist's work and a photo exhibition.

The event will be attended by the Union of Writers and Journalists of Kazakhstan, heads of national media and famous journalists, public and state figures, foreign researchers, scientists and teaching staff.
