Kazakh Radio week was held

In honor of the 100th anniversary of "Qazaq radiosy", a week of master classes entitled "QAZAQ RADIOSY" - Chronicle of the Century: HISTORY, DEVELOPMENT AND FUTURE was held by the Department of Print and Electronic Media of the Faculty of Journalism of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Within the framework of the week, a book exhibition and a photo exhibition "The Spiritual Basis of Kazakhstan - Kazakh Radio", "The Voice of the Nation" were presented.

The master classes were conducted by the journalists of the Kazakh radio, as well as the lecturers of the Faculty of Journalism, who worked at the Kazakh radio and published scientific works about the radio.

On the first day of this week Nalibay Gulmira Adilkhankyzy, a radiohost and editor, an excellent specialist in the sphere of culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a master class entitled "Content and artistic quality of live music programs". As part of the master class, Gulmira Adilkhankyzy told future journalists about the role of music in increasing the effectiveness of radio programs, as well as about the specifics of live broadcasting.

Zhanar Orazymbet, a journalist, an excellent specialist in the field of information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, within the framework of a master class entitled "The essence of personalities on the radio, methods of preparing portrait programs and news," noted that “when revealing the portrait of individuals, it is not enough to tell about his biography and professional activities, such monotonous programs are not interesting to the audience. The skill of disclosing the character of individual during interviews is also the skill of a journalist. “We can prepare good material if we reveal previously unknown sides of the personality and convey it in his own voice."

Having become the voice of the Great Steppe "Kazakh radio" and radio "Shalkar" are the basis of national spirituality, Kazakh culture and art.

Bolatbek Tolepbergen, director of the Shalkar radio, who conducted the master class on the third day of the week, spoke about the life of the radio, which broadcasts daily about the traditions, customs, language, religion and culture of our country. Students listened to the voices of Mustafa Shokai and Mukagali Makatayev from the Golden Fund. Fiery speech of Mustafa Shokay, addressed to student youth: “Youth of Turkestan, unite! Your unity, your joining forces will work for the good of our country. Don't forget this. Our Motherland, the native land of Turkestan will become our grace. To die for Turkestan, to give our souls for Turkestan should be our common goal. We must not forget about this. The Turkic people are a heroic people. The Turkic people are courageous people like a lion” made a huge impression and gave an inspiration.

The purity of sound on the radio and the preparation of children's programs have their own characteristics. In this direction, Gulbagysh Bostan shared her professional advice for improving journalistic skills with student youth. She spoke about the special skills required by the radio host and editor of children's programs.

The results of the week were summed up by the radio host and editor Kuralov Ongar Tazhikuly, sharing his opinion and ideas about the culture of speech and the purity of the language on the air, about the importance of the programs of the "Golden Fund". Speaking about the purity of speech, he gave to listen to the recordings of the scientist Rabiga Syzdykova and the poet Orazakyn Askar.

Within the framework of the week, lectures were given by lecturers - Professor Klara Kabylgazina ("Dauir Uni"), Associate Professor Abdizhadilkyzy Zhidegul ("Chronicle of Independence on Kazakh Radio"), PhD Dr. Zarina Kairatkyzy ("Basic tools required to launch a podcast")

Thus, the week dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Voice of the Nation - Kazakh Radio is over. During the week, the students of the Faculty of Journalism got acquainted with many facts from the history of Kazakh radio and gained a lot of experience.

At the closing ceremony of the week, Vlastimil Samek, a representative of the UN Global Communications Department, took part and made a congratulatory speech. Dean of the Faculty of Journalism Sansyzbay Madiev noted that cooperation and mutual exchange of experience between the faculty and Kazakh radio will continue in the future, and presented souvenirs from Al-Farabi KazNU to the journalists who conducted the master classes.
