The topic aroused genuine interest among the audience, and an interesting discussion took place, many questions and opinions on the period of diplomacy of the period of the “Iron Curtain” and the rapprochement between the USA and the USSR through a special form of intercultural communication - exhibitions. American and Soviet exhibitions played a kind of “virtual” role in introducing the peoples of the two systems through photographs, posters, achievements in science, technology, and culture.
