On February 17, 2023 at 11:30 AM, the Faculty of International Relations hosted a public lecture by the Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Almaty Mario-Ingo Zoos on the topic "Kazakh-German relations at the present stage". During his speech, the Consul General outlined the main directions and results of the development of 30-year-old relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Federal Republic of Germany. In addition, the distinguished guest told the students about Germany's interests in relations between the two countries and gave his forecast for their further development. The final stage of the lecture was held in the format of a small discussion by the Consul General and the audience. Young scientists and students in the framework of the lecture topic were able to get comprehensive answers to their questions from the honorary guest of our faculty and acquire new knowledge about various aspects of the development of relations between the two countries.
