In the period from March 29 to April 08, 2021, under the Agreement on Cooperation between universities, undergraduates of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (www.kaznu.kz)  of the educational program "International Law" successfully completed an online scientific internship at the International Law Faculty of the Russian Foreign Trade Academy of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation (RFTA of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation). (http://www.vavt.ru/)

According to the internship program, which was prepared by the Department of International Law of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, undergraduates attended training sessions for ten days: online lectures, practical seminars, master classes, participated in the discussion of the content of dissertations in individual consultations with leading scientists, prepared scientific articles for participation in the international conference Farabi Alemi.

During the internship, undergraduates received access to the electronic resources of the library of the Russian university, educational and methodological materials on the courses studied, and had the opportunity to use the scientific fund to collect additional material on the topics of master's studies.

On the final day of the scientific internship, a joint scientific seminar dedicated to the methodology of research work was held under the guidance of I. M. Lifshits, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor of the Department of International Law, where undergraduates made presentations and discussed the provisions of their master's theses.

As a result of the internship, undergraduates received valuable experience, a wealth of new knowledge, certificates of internship completion and positive feedback from scientific supervisors.

The Department of International Law of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University expresses its gratitude for the excellent and fruitful organization of the scientific internship to the head of the International Department of the Russian Foreign Trade Academy of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation - I. N. Shkolyar, Head of the Department of International Law - Doctor of Law, Professor. V. M. Shumilov, Doctor of Law, assoc. Professor I. M. Lifshits and the entire faculty of the Department of International Law for the preparation and support of undergraduates during the scientific internship.

The exchange of pedagogical experience and knowledge of the Russian and Kazakh schools of international law between educational institutions provides a powerful impetus for improving the quality of training of undergraduates, obtaining new knowledge and discoveries in science.
