Famous musicians from Viterbo Mariella Spadavecchia and Matteo Bischetti performed at the U.A. Dzholdasbekov Palace of Students.

Two musicians from Viterbo, Italy Mariella Spadavecchia and Matteo Bischetti at a concert in Central Asia. The concert, the event in which they acted as the main characters, took place on Tuesday October 22 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Palace of Students named after U.A. Dzholdasbekov.

The musicians performed famous arias from the most important Italian operas (Verdi, Bellini, Rossini, Puccini), as well as Italian novels from the early 1900s and Neapolitan songs. The pianist Matteo Bischetti also performed as a soloist and performed works by famous Italian composers such as Alfredo Casella, Niccolo Paganini. The hall received the artists a storm of applause and admiration.

The Embassy of Italy in Kazakhstan acted as a sponsor of the concert on the occasion of the 19th Week of Italian Language in the World, an international event from October 21 to 27 on the topic “Italian on Stage”.
