On September 21, 2018 the Institute of Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducted a webinar within the site of the L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University with the online participation of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University on the following theme :"Implementation of the norms of international treaties in the field of human rights (civil and political rights) into the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan". The target audience of the webinar was the bachelor students, master's students, Ph.D students of the specialty "International Law" of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and al-Farabi Kazakh National University. During the webinar, various aspects of civil and political rights were raised: from the history of the establishment of basic documents in the field of human rights to the content of individual rights and their implementation into the national legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan .The theme of the webinar attracted interest from the audience, and students of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and al-Farabi Kazakh National University asked a number of questions concerning the deprivation of citizenship, the practice of the European Court of Human Rights , international standards in the field of human rights, the prospects of the creation of the a human rights catalog within the space of the EAEC etc. At the end of the webinar, an exchange of views took place and the results were summed up.
