Corruption as a disease of society

On the 8th of November 2018, at the Faculty of International Relations under the guidance of a lecturer of the Department of International Law, within the framework of the project of “Айналаңды нұрландыр”, has been held an event on the topic “Corruption as a disease of society” with the participation of 1st year master degree students of the Kazakh group of specialty “World Economy”.
The purpose of the event: Deepening the theoretical level of knowledge of undergraduates of the phenomenon of corruption, the causes, factors contributing to its development. Developing regulatory skills. Formation of anti-corruption worldview in undergraduates.
The topic of the day was the disclosure of the concept of “corruption”. The types of corruption, cons of corruption, manifestations of corruption in Kazakhstan and foreign experience in dealing with it were considered at the event. The teachers asked questions, the undergraduates organized a discussion. The undergraduates also noted that the government of Kazakhstan uses great efforts to counter corruption.
