On September 11, 2019, Qazaqstan TV channel organized a special exhibition for first-year students in the specialty 6B03201 Journalism. The purpose of the tour: to introduce students to the realities of television and the transfer of experience from specialists to the future generation of journalists.

First-year student Aidana Shalkarova writes about this experience: “Life is full of crossroads. From the very moment you enter an adult life, you have to face a great many choices. And one of the most important choices in life is the choice of a future profession. From the 2nd grade of school, I dreamed of becoming a journalist, and this has become one of my life positions. There were several reasons why I chose journalism. In 2013, the national television channel Qazaqstan presented to the public a new project, Kazakhstani Children Abroad. This program has become one of my favorite programs since its launch. I was also very impressed by the project correspondent Zhanar Baysemenova. Today, in anticipation of a successful entry into the profession, I have come to the doorstep of the Kazakhstan National TV Channel, which I dreamed about every day. Together with the brave, talented, competent, intelligent, freshmen of our university, we were full of joy and anticipation, going around the walls of this historic building. We plunged into a special historical aura, which was literally saturated with accomplishments, from the moment we touched the door handles of the channel. And it’s hard for me to explain the words, that feeling that has awakened in us, that feeling that literally exclaimed: “Forward, only forward!” My passion for journalism has only increased.

We were welcomed by Asylbekova Zhanylkhan herself, producer of such projects as Tau Tulga, Kelbet, and Zharkyn Beine. She told us that she is also a prominent member of the Union of Journalists. During the tour, she talked about the history of the channel, and about workdays. We were shown the studios of the most interesting programs and introduced to other representatives of the channel. At the end of her excursion, she asked us “Do you want to work with us in the future?” And of course, we all answered “yes!” ss one. In my memory, this day will remain as a special day, full of dear and interesting memories. "
