From October 31 to November 11, 2018 at the Faculty of Journalism of the Al-FarabiKazakh national Universityorganized the Republican scientific-methodical seminar-training "Spiritual revival: the role of national values ​​in educating the young generation."

The main purpose of this event which held in the assembly hall №230 named after Professor Kozhakeev, is to improve the quality of teaching methods of national education and the professional development of educational staff. The training seminar was held with the support of the Republican Educational and Methodological Council. The author of the project and the moderator of the seminar-training is Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Press and Electronic Mass Media, Zhidegul Abdizhadilkyzy.

The training seminar was aimed at university professors, teachers of secondary schools and colleges, young scientists, doctoral students, undergraduates.

Within the framework of the training seminarwere conducteda refresher course on updated content of education and a specialized TV journalism course for future journalists were conducted.

 According to the results of the 72-hour seminar-trainingwere presented certificates of professional development, approved by the Republican Educational and Methodological Council.
