Dear colleagues, students, undergraduates and PhD students of language specialties, scientists and university teachers, practicing translators, representatives of translation organizations!

The International Center for Intercultural Communication and Translation Studies at the Diplomatic Translation Department invites you to take part in the online scientific and educational seminar "Translator as the central figure of international communication" which will be held on March 13, 2021 at 15.00 in the Zoom platform.

The objective of the seminar is to activate students’ science in the field of researching topical problems of translation in the focus of modern language education; to provide an information platform for dialogue for practicing specialists and young researchers taking the first steps in mastering the skill of translation; to increase the motivation of young researchers in studying translation experience and discovering new personal prospects in the field of professional activity, as well as familiarization with different types of interpretation during international negotiations and conferences. The seminar is expected to be attended by leading professors from Great Britain, France, Germany, as well as simultaneous interpreters of the subordinate organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who have made a great contribution to the development of translation activities.
