On January 27, 2020 the ceremony of awarding scholarships of the international organization TURKSOY to students of 1-3 courses of the Department of TURKSOY took place.

        At the award ceremony, Mr. Askar Turganbay, representative of the organization in the Republic of Kazakhstan, delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of the Secretary General of the international organization TURKSOY Kaseinov Duysen Kurabayevich. In his speech he noted that TURKSOY organization has been a reliable partner of Al-Farabi KazNU since 2015 and awarded the best students of Turksoy department a scholarship, the total amount of which is 1 million tenge.

      The Rector of KazNU academician Galymkair Mutanovich on behalf of the university team expressed gratitude to the Secretary General of the international organization TURKSOY Kaseinov Dusen Kurabayevich for the contribution made to the development of historical and cultural continuity between Turkic peoples in the era of globalization and the constant cooperation with the university and the award of a special scholarship to stimulate students.

       On behalf of the students who received the scholarship, 3 student Toibolda Aigerim spoke, who thanked for such traditional good works of the international organization TURKSOY, aimed at stimulating students, as well as for the opportunity to lead KazNU named after Al-Farabi in obtaining quality education of students.

      We wish our students to be confident, qualified and competitive specialists in the future.
