At the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi, on the initiative of the rector Zhanseit Tuymebayev, a marathon, a solemn procession, a forum and a fair "Golden Autumn" were held in campus in honor of the Day of the Republic.
The Al-Farabi Library hosted an international scientific conference "Prospects for the development of diasporology in the era of globalization, transnationalism and digitalization", dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Koreans of Kazakhstan and the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea.
On October 27, 2022, a scientific conference was held at the Korean Education Center in Almaty under the Embassy of the Republic of Korea dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Korea on the topic “Achievements and prospects for teaching the Korean language in the New Northern Region”.
On October 26, 2022, Bolatbek Alina, a 2nd-year PhD student of the Department of Chinese Studies, majoring in "Oriental Studies", gave a presentation on the topic "Formation of investment policy and laws of the PRC" at the scientific seminar.
On October 21, 2022, Science Committee of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, R.B. Suleymenov Institute of Oriental Studies held an international scientific and practical conference entitled "New Kazakhstan and the Eastern World: history, future and current issues of cooperation".
On the eve of the "October 25 - Republic Day" , in order to develop a sense of patriotism and instill a patriotic spirit in young students, on October 21, the Department of Chinese Studies organized an event on the topic of "Under the flag of Alash, we will not stop until the sun goes down!" .
