The Islamic Republic of Iran is famous for its collections of manuscripts. Since ancient times, Iran has been one of the eastern countries known for its written monuments. Therefore, within the framework of the "Archive 2025" program in October 2022, the PhD, senior lecturer of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia, Oriental Studies Faculty of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Kambarbekova Galiya Amzeevna went on a science trip to work in the manuscript collections of the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Tehran. The Majilis Library is considered to be the richest library of manuscripts in Iran. There are 43,272 manuscripts in the manuscript fund of this library, and 20,885 manuscripts are stored in the manuscript fund of the National Library of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It should be noted that the manuscript collections of these libraries are annually replenished by acquiring manuscripts stored in private libraries.
