CENTRE FOR EUROPEAN LAW AND SOCIAL SCIENCES
The Centre was opened in December 2014 on the basis of the agreement signed by the rectors of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the University of Le Havre (France) during the visit of President of France François Hollande to Kazakhstan.
The main mission of the Centre is to assist in the preparation, opening and functioning of double degree programmes with French and European universities, in organising academic exchange programmes for students and professors, conducting scientific research together with professors from French, European and other foreign universities.
International forums with the participation of scientists from Kazakhstan, France, the Republic of Korea, P. R. China, the Russian Federation, Spain, etc. are held on a regular basis under the auspices of the Centre for European Law and Social sciences.
