Professors of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics Djansugurova L.B. and Turuspekov E.K. received the title of "Best researcher" in 2022.

The winners of the "Best Researcher" award in 2022. 50 scientists of research institutes and universities have become. Among them are our teachers-employers Djansugurova L.B. and Turuspekov E.K., who received awards in the field of "Natural Sciences".

L.B. Djansugurova is the chief researcher of the Institute of Genetics and Physiology, who has been teaching as a professor at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics for many years. She is the author of more than 300 publications, including more than 30 in journals included in the Scopus and Web of Science databases. She was the supervisor of 20 projects. Under her leadership, 26 students, 11 master students, 5 candidates of sciences and 4 PhD students defended themselves.

Turuspekov Yerlan Kenesbekovich is the head of the laboratory of Molecular Genetics of Institute of Plant Biology and Biotechnology. Actively participates in research projects. The result of which is his publication in foreign journals of 56 articles, which have been cited a total of more than a thousand times. In 2022 alone, 88 publications referred to his work. Turuspekov Yerlan Kenesbekovich, in parallel with his research activities, teaches in the master's and doctoral studies of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
