Al-Farabi KazNU Islamic Finance Scientific and Educational Centre has been nominated for Best Emerging Islamic Finance Education Provider 2020 as part of the 10th Global Islamic Finance Awards (GIFA) 2020 taking place in September 2020. Congratulations on the nomination in recognition of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University’s contribution to excellence in Islamic finance. In addition to Al-Farabi KazNU Islamic Finance Scientific and Educational Centre, three more universities have been nominated in the same category.

Held annually, GIFA celebrates achievements and contributions of institutions and individuals towards development and expansion of the Islamic banking and finance industry. By doing so, it promotes those who have made significant strides in thought leadership, implementing world-class initiatives, and developing industry-leading products and services on a scale of prominence and scope with depth.
