On March 3, in the Kaznu Library, the grand opening of the student organization "QUAZAR" was held with the support of the Higher School of Medicine and the Faculty of Medicine and Health. The goals of this organization are:

1. Improve student academic and social life.

2. To unite different nationalities into a harmonious whole.

3. Provide a platform to discuss issues.

4. To provide an opportunity for better communication between GSOM students and other medical universities in the world.

5. Provide a platform for the dissemination of important academic resources and knowledge.

6. Promote interesting events such as sports tournaments, Model United Nations, food festivals, medical knowledge tournaments, adventure trips, clinical camps, etc.

7. Represent the School of Medicine and our faculty at various national and international events.

3rd year student Muhammad Qasim Khan was elected president of the organization, and in turn representatives of 13 countries were elected among the students. The honorary right to open the student organization "Quazar" was granted to the doctor of medical sciences, professor, dean of the faculty of medicine and health Kalmatayeva Zhanna Amantaevna. The sponsors of the organizations also supported the opening ceremony with their presence: 1. Sajjad Ahmad Jatol, 2. Muhammad Qasim Khan, 3. Sardar Ahmad Jibril Lutfi Geba, 4. Sajar E. Fion. Sponsors expressed their warm wishes, support and presented their gifts. It is also worth noting that Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Director of the Higher School of Medicine Issayeva Raushan Binomovna delivered a congratulatory speech. The evening ended with the performance of the anthem "Zhasay ber - Kazuym".
