Melis Mayra, a 2nd-year student of the specialty "6B10106-General Medicine internship", was awarded a Certificate of Honor and a scholarship at the celebration of the Graduate Day on May 29, 2021. As one of the best students of our faculty and University, she proved herself on the positive side, showed a strong desire for knowledge, has a GPA=3.5. During her internship, she was an active volunteer (she worked as a doctor's assistant in the pharmacological department of the CCH №1 during the COVID-19 pandemic May-July 2020), provided emergency medical care, supervised specialized patients in the somatic and pharmacological departments of clinical bases (GKB7, BSMP, GP26) during the most difficult time for the country.

Academic achievements were also noted: participated in international and national conferences, such as " The new model of the Graduate of the Higher School of Economics-the expansion of the educational program. Orphan diseases in the practice of a PHC specialist", "From experience to project", "ISMS 2021", where she demonstrated the collected analysis of post-mortem histories from COVID19, and also investigated the rare disease "Alveolar proteinosis". Subsequently, these works became publications.

Melis Maira is demanding of herself, actively participated in the student life, is the headman throughout the entire period of study. Success and achievements in the professional field, academic performance, personal qualities and participation in the social life of the university-all this makes her a promising young researcher and the pride of our university!
