On April 27, 2021, under the leadership of the curator-adviser of the Department of the Far East Tazabekova G.B. for the 2nd year students of the Department of Japanese Studies, an online conference was organized on the topic: "The structure and history of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan." An officer of the Air Defense Forces, the Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major Altaev Alzhan was invited as a guest. Altaev Alzhan presented to the attention of students the presentation on the history of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan and outlined in detail the structure of the Kazakh army. The officer also noted that every conscientious person should be a patriot of his homeland. The students expressed their sincere gratitude to Altaev Alzhan for an informative and interesting conversation. The online meeting was held at a high organizational and content level.

On April 6, 2021, at 12: 00, through the ZOOM platform, Master's student Yussupova M. M., Faculty of Oriental Studies, under the guidance of senior teachers Tashkenbayeva B. Zh. and Serikbayeva Z. A., held an event with students of the 2nd and 3rd year of the faculty on the topic "Successful employment". The purpose of the event was to: motivation for the correct determination of the life path after graduation, working out techniques and methods of employment. The event began with a question to the students about where they would like to work. The students actively answered the questions and shared their thoughts about various types of employment. During the event, the students were presented with a presentation on the methods of job search, tasks were performed to determine the needs of students during the job search, and practical advice was provided. Students were also able to learn how to write a resume correctly and how to successfully pass an interview. At the end of the event, students practiced self-presentation, asked questions that were productively discussed.

This open educational event showed the need for such events in the future. Since the topic of employment is relevant for all students.

On April 16, 2021, an online meeting with a practicing psychologist Krylova Almagul Talapovna was held among the students of 2-3 courses of the Department of the Far East of the Faculty of Oriental Studies within the framework of the social project "Cult of a Healthy Lifestyle" on the topic "Psychological service during a pandemic: family relationships and their Problems". The online meeting was organized by advisers U.A. Amirbekova and B.Zh. Tashkenbaeva.

On April 7, 2021 at 11:00 on the ZOOM online platform, 1st year master student G.S. Nurkenova under the guidance of the senior lecturer of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Serikbayeva Z.A, an event was held on the topic "Business Ethics in Korean Companies" for the 2nd year students of the Department of the Far East.

The purpose of the educational event is to familiarize with the ethics of business communication, gain experience in conducting business conversations, and develop a culture of communication.

During the lesson, the students were presented with material about greetings, communication features and the concept of "hierarchy" in South Korean companies.

On April 3, 2021, under the guidance of the instructors of the Department of the Far East Tazabekova G.B. and Saudanbekova Sh.T. for the students of the 1,2,3,4 courses of the departments of Japanese studies and Korean studies, a leadership lecture was organized on the topic: "Development of the leadership qualities of future orientalists." A graduate of the Department of the Far East, Master in International Relations, Advisor to the Strategic Planning Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mustafin Yerzhan Amangeldiuly was invited as a lecturer. The lecture was attended by students and the teaching staff of the department. In his speech, Yerzhan Amangeldіuly spoke in detail about his life path and answered questions from students. He also noted that everything can be achieved thanks to hard work, the ability to set goals and develop one's potential. Students expressed their sincere gratitude to Yerzhan Amangeldili for an inspiring and interesting lecture. The online meeting was held at a high organizational and content level.

On April 1, 2021, under the guidance of the senior lecturer of the Department of Japanese Studies of the Department of the Far East Tazabekova G.B. a leadership lecture was organized on the topic: "Education and employment in Japan." Our compatriot, a graduate of the University of Tokyo, a master in environmental engineering, a specialist of a large Japanese company "Rakuten", Aigerim Shopenova was invited as a lecturer. Shopenova Aigerim gave her presentation and gave a lecture on training and employment opportunities in the land of the rising sun. At the end of the online meeting, the students asked the lecturer their questions and all participants took a photo with the lecturer. The lecture was held at a high organizational and content level.

Within the framework of the project "Cult of a Healthy Body" under the guidance of the curator-adviser of the 2nd course of the Department of Japanese Studies Tazabekova G.B. On March 31, 2021, an online lecture was held on the topic: "The principles of proper nutrition." A Kazakh scientist, a member of the SOCIETY OF BIOTECHNOLOGISTS OF RUSSIA named after V.I. Yu.A. OVCHINNIKOVA, academician, professor, doctor of technical sciences, winner of the Alfred Nobel medal for his contribution to the development of science and invention, who has devoted more than 40 years to the study of the field of food biotechnology, Sagymbek Altayuly. The lecturer made 2 presentations and gave a lecture on the topic of healthy eating and talked about the latest research carried out in this area. At the end of the online meeting, the students asked their questions about food additives, GMO products, balanced nutrition, etc. to Professor S. Altayuly. There was a warm and friendly atmosphere at the online meeting. The lecture was held at a high organizational and content level.
