On January 22, 2020, a round table was held with 2-year students of the Department of Japanese Studies, the Department of the Far East on the topic "Book is a source of knowledge" within the framework of the project "100 books", organized by curator-adviser Tazabekova G.B. The event is aimed at the spiritual and moral development and education of students. During the round table, the students presented their slides on the topics, the participants of the event talked about what books they had read over the past half a year, shared the list of books to be read, and their favorite authors of scientific and fictional literature.

On December 11, 2020, under the guidance of the advisers of the Far East Department of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, U. A. Amirbekova and B. Zh. Tashkenbaeva, a curatorial hour was held for 2-3 year students of the Korean Studies Department on the topic "December 16 - Independence Day of Kazakhstan" dedicated to Independence Day. The event was organized by the 2nd year students of the specialty "Oriental Studies" Tilektes Nazerke, Murat Aizat, Asylbekgyzy Salima, Medinaeva Maya, Gulzhaina Umirgali, Anel Ibraimova, Gulzhan Oman. We hope that such educational events will inspire young people to be proud of their country.

On December 4, 2020, within the framework of the "100 Books" project, the student scientific circle "Shin Sede" organized an educational event on the topic "Contemporary Korean Prose".
