30 students from 7 higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part. The Olympiad consisted of 2 rounds. The first round is a test of basic knowledge in the form of test questions in the following disciplines: General chemical technology; basic processes and devices in chemical technology; inorganic chemistry. The second round is the solution of the production technological problem from the real production of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Team Fenix, consisting of students of third course specialty 5B072000-ChTIS Abdikhanieva Aigul, Manatbekova Inkar and Endygoieva Aizhan, took 2nd place. Team members Abdikhanieva Aigul and Endygoieva Aizhan were included in the best three on the 2nd round in the individual competition.
