Student's Union «Sunkar» Public association "Trade union of students "Sunkar"" is a voluntary, self-reliant, independent, fixed and individual membership of a public non-governmental association established on the basis of free will and professional interests of the citizens for the realization of the rights and legitimate interests, acting on the basis of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Civil Code the Republic of Kazakhstan. Student Council of the University of al-Farabi is primarily active youth penalty. We try and want to be those people who have kindness and share it with everyone, in spite of their age, gender or other characteristics. Our goal is to encourage everyone to do good, to work for the benefit of the good and to share the warmth of our hearts. And you, too, become one of us!
"Komek" is a community of students created on the basis of the university KazNU after Al-Farabi. It has been organizing volunteer work to assist socially vulnerable groups of the population.The organization was established in 2010 10th of November Project justification Our future is in the hands of young people. In the formation of the younger generation of the society is of great importance. Volunteer work is a wide range of activities, showing the social activity of young people, bringing up social responsibility, patriotism, leadership, support and understanding of students. And our goal is to send the energy of young people for the benefit of their personal formation and for the benefit of society. Our project is based on the organization of a volunteer to help orphans and children without parental care, children from remedial schools, the sick from cancer and autism, as well as the elderly in need of volunteer help. This includes working with children non-formal education aimed at intercultural dialogue, peacemaking, conflict resolution and environmental protection. Also working with children, who often do not even go beyond the children's home, which is not enough attention, communication and comfort. They live in closed areas and badly oriented life. Deprived of communication with the outside world. And so it is necessary to constantly work with them. Unfortunately teachers often do not have enough time for this. As a result in this work could engage young students of our university and students from other universities. Our project will help to cover a large number of children's homes with permanent team of students. And most important help to more children find themselves in a life! Targets: 1. Today, Student Bureauof the Bologna process is the organization, whose main purpose is to support and protect the interests of students and address their academic issues. Priority for the organization is trust. The students ' confidence as an independent entity in settling the issues. Our tasksare not simple, but very real. We aim to introduce a policy of openness for comments and suggestions towards the quality of education in our University. SBBP - is the building of the dialogue between the administration of the University and its students in the new format. In turn, SBBP conducts preventive and explanatory work to prevent conflict situations. Our mission is to promote the development of independence of students of KazNU named after al-Farabi in the protection of rights in the field of education, as well as to show and teach students to use the full educational services. The organization’s objectives: - the introduction of the policy of openness for comments and suggestions towards the quality of education in the University; - full communion of students to build their educational trajectory. 2. Realization of policies for promoting quality of education: - the exclusion of unfair exams; - participation inthe meeting of the Council on ethics in the faculty to support students; - monitoring the quality of getting knowledge 3. Development of internal academic mobility. 4. Supportforforeigncitizens. 5. Maximum participation of students in international projects, development of the mass character. The pride of the Student Bureau of the Bologna process is the only one of its kind, the center of student support "Advice". The center has become a place of dialogue of students with the administration. It promotes the resolution of issues and also receives comments and suggestions for improving the educational process. Each student can apply to the various questions,both anonymous and personally for advice. The center is staffed by students - undergraduates, which are fully owned by the academic policy of the university and other legal acts, regulating this area. This practice improves the feedback between administration and students. After all, the confidence and maintaining the confidentiality of students is the central tenet of our center. One of the outstanding projects of SBBP is: • SSS (Super Smart Student) within the project of Al - farabi Smart City, in whichduring the intellectual competitions we define the most intelligent student of our University. • The annual fair of educational programs, scholarships and vacancies "Path to Success", together with the Department of Academic Affairs. • The "Clean session". In Al-Farabi University youth wing of the "Zhas Otan" was created in the form of public association in January 2014.
