On February 16, 2018 in the Nazarbayev center of Astana the annual solemn ceremony of awarding the Laureates of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Foundation Prize was held. As a result of 2017 in the direction of “Chemistry, Technology, Technical Sciences” the winner of the award was the senior lecturer of the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Organic Substances, Natural Compounds and Polymers of the Al-Farabi KazNU Nurpeisova Zhansaya for her work on the topic “Creation of composite hydrophilic polymer materials for application in medicine”.
