Students of the 3rd year of the educational program "6B07201- Pharmaceutical production technology" during their internship visited the pharmaceutical company LLP "VIVA Pharm", which is one of the ten largest pharmaceutical distributors of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
It was recently announced that the 2022 Nobel Prize in Chemistry will be awarded to two US scientists Carolyn R. Bertozzi and K. Barry Sharpless, as well as to the Danish scientist Morten Meldal for "the development of click chemistry and bioorthogonal chemistry". Click Chemistry is the branch of chemistry concerned with the development of efficient and rapid synthetic methods for linking disparate molecules together with minimal use of catalysts, toxic organic solvents, and highly demanding reaction conditions. With the help of click chemistry, molecules can be "fastened" to each other, as we do, taking our place in the plane and fastening our seat belts.
For many years there has been a connection between Associate Professor Zhaksylykova G. Zh., senior teachers Kanapieva F. M., Kudaibergenov N.Zh. of the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the Izmir Institute of Technology. As a result of close scientific contact with scientists of the Izmir Institute of Technology, undergraduates of the educational program "7M07101 - Petrochemistry" and doctoral students of the educational program "8D07101 - petrochemistry" successfully undergo scientific internships.
