In April 15, 2019 at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of Al-Farabi KazNU a ceremonial presentation of diplomas to undergraduates who completed training in the educational program of the magistracy, developed in the framework of personnel support of the State program of industrial-innovative development of the Republic of Kazakhstan (SPIID) took place.

The annual competition “The Best Student Group - 2019”, which is held by the student union “Sunkar”, has ended. The competition, which consists of four stages, was attended by student groups from 12 faculties of our university. The winner of the competition was the second-year students of the «Chemistry – 201» group of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology (curator-adviser PhD, senior teacher of the department of general and inorganic chemistry Myltykbayeva Laura Kadenovna). Students were awarded a diploma and a cup, as well as travelling to the city of Nur-Sultan.

On April 12, 2019 on the day of "SCIENCE" at the solemn closing ceremony of "The Farabi readings" and "Farabi Alemi” international conference the results of “The Best Young Scientist of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University-2019” contest were announced by the first pro-rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University prof. M.M. Burkitbayev.

April 19. Al-Farabi Kazakh National University once again hosted the League of Chemists competition, which was attended by 10 teams of students from universities in the city of Almaty - KazNMU named after S.Zh. Asfendiyarov, KazNPU named after Abay, KazNITU named after K.I. Satpayev, Kazakh Medical University of Continuing Education (KazMUNO), Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical University, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

According to the results of the VI International Farabi Forum "Al-Farabi and Modernity" on April 12, 2019, the contest "The Best Young Scientist of KazNU 2019" was held on the basis of scientific activities. According to the results of the competition, the senior teachers of the department of physical chemistry, catalysis and petrochemistry PhD Yermoldina E.T. and PhD Jeldybaeva I.M. awarded diplomas "The Best Young Scientist of 2019".
