At the Department of International Relations and World Economy of the Faculty of International Relations, the monograph “THE IMPACT OF COVID-19 ON ACCOUNTING, BUSINESS PRACTICE AND EDUCATION” edited by Joanna Dyczkowska, an Associate Professor of the Department “Costing, Tax Management and Controlling” of Wroclaw University of Economics and Business (Poland) was presented. The book provides an insight into the complex implications of the COVID-19 pandemic. It consists of eleven chapters that present how particular governments, institutions, and business organizations have responded to the health crisis while simultaneously trying to maintain the public’s confidence and continuity of their current operations. The monograph was co-authored by scientists from Poland, Germany, Slovak Republic, Romania, Brazil, Italy, and Kazakhstan. One of the authors who described the experience of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University’s transition to distance learning is a Senior Lecturer of the Department of International Relations and World Economy, Candidate of Economic Sciences Aida Yerimpasheva. The main idea of ​​the chapter is the assertion that digital strategies utilizing innovative technologies help students adapt to the pandemic’s consequences.
