Discussion of educational programs with representatives of employers

On March 17, 2021, at the initiative of the Department of diplomatic translation of the Faculty of International Relations, an online meeting was organized with employers and teachers involved in production. During the meeting, they discussed the development of educational programs in the specialties "6B023 - Translation in the field of International and legal relations", "6B042 – international law, MINOR - international law and judicial translation" and "7M023 - Synchronous conference translation, professional orientation (1 year)" in accordance with the requirements of the Bologna Process and the qualifications of current employers for future specialists. The meeting was attended by candidate of philological sciences, аssociate рrofessor Aitkali Bakitov., Zhumalieva Zh.K., consultant of Macmillan Education in Kazakhstan, Umekova N. K., synchronist translator of IP "Nazira-French", Meiram Islam, translator of the conference on interaction and confidence building measures in Asia and translator of the Spanish language of the Ministry of foreign affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Filimonova Svetlana. Тhe participants of the online meeting shared their views on the training of future translators.
