At the Faculty of International Relations KazNU al-Farabi held a round table on the topic "The evolution of the interests of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the global integration processes", dedicated to the memory of Professor Zharas Umarovich Ibrashev. January 15, 2016 he was gone. In the summer of 2018 he would have turned 90 years old. More than 60 years he gave to the university. He, along with G.Sh.Zhambatyrova, directly created a new specialty in Kazakhstan - “international relations”, prepared many students - followers of his scientific school and the main offspring of all life - European studies. In recent years, he enthusiastically developed Eurasian problems and involved quite a few young students, undergraduates and doctoral students in the study of this field of knowledge. They talked about science, about high school, but most of all about him, about the Master, principled and generous, strict and humorous, about his human qualities, which are rare today - to be and remain a Man in all situations. Colleagues from Karaganda University, from ENU (Astana), from Almaty universities arrived. Thanks to everyone who remembers and continues the work of Zharas Umarovich’s life.
