On December 9, 2021 of the current year in Al-Farabi library of Kazakh National University, in the hall of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan the long-awaited presentation of a new dilogy - books of a famous Kazakh writer and film dramatist Nurlan Sanzhar: "Unexpected Guest - Jochi" and "Batu - Khan" took place. The presentation was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of N. S. Sanzhar, an honored figure of Kazakhstan, a candidate of philosophical sciences, a member of the Union of Cinematographers of Kazakhstan, a film and TV editor, the author of a number of scripts of well-known and beloved films.

         But first of all, it should be noted that Kazakh cinema viewers know and love him for his performance of the main role in the popular children's film "My name is Qozha", which since 1964 and to this day to the delight of children does not leave the screens. That wonderful, bright and kind film brought Kazakhstan the first and greatest international award - Special Prize of Cannes Film Festival for the Best Film for Young People. However, the young actor did not become an actor in his adult life, though he tied his fate to cinematography and art.

Nurlan Sanzhar graduated from two universities - pedagogical and Moscow's VGIK department of scriptwriting. He became a professional scriptwriter of feature films. His scripts of such films as: "Journey to Nowhere". "Allazhar", "Angelochek", "Oralman", etc., brought eight Grand Prix to the treasury of national cinema. They were recognized as the best in Central Asia, Eurasia, and All Asia, and in Germany, for example, the film "Oralman" was called outstanding by film critics.

The library of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University together with the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Journalism organized and held a presentation of the writer's new dilogy, which N. Sanzhar has been writing for the last seven years. This epic canvas about the beginning of the formation of Kazakh statehood and the formation of the Kazakh ethnos into a nation - the birth of the territory of the future state on the idea of Genghis Khan's eldest son Jochi. The books reflect historical realities, the novels created new images of Jochi Khan and his son Batu.

B. B. Karibaev, academician, professor, doctor of historical sciences - head of the chair of Kazakhstan history of KazNU in his speech highly appreciated the dilogy of N. Sanzhar and called it highly artistic, timely and necessary for modern Kazakh reader. An exhibition of the writer and dramatist was arranged at the presentation. The hero of the occasion was also honored by his colleagues from the Electronic Media Department of the Faculty of Journalism, as well as many guests of the presentation - People's Artist, Laureate of Kazakhstan State Prize, film actor Nurzhuman Ikhtymbaev, Honored Theater and Film Artist, Laureate of State Prize Aidos Temirov, Honored figure of Kazakhstan, artist and film director Sabit Kumanbekov and many others.

In his reply speech, N. Sanzhar cited a quote from the movie "My name is Qozha", when the head teacher Rakhmanov told the young teacher S. Maykanova: A student is not a vessel to be filled with knowledge, but a torch, which the teacher must light. With this statement Nurlan Sanzhar presented to the participants of the presentation not only his new books, but also his first-year students. They are now my hope, he noted.
