This year’s celebration of the World Radio Day will be dedicated to sports. To mark the occasion, the the 5th Winter School of Journalism and Communication organized by the Faculty of Journalism of Аl-Farabi Kazakh National University from 25 to 27 January 2018 will include master classes dedicated to the topics of Radio and Sport, Sport and journalism, Sport and digital news literacy.

The Winter School of Journalism is organized annually. 100 participants from community, national and private radio stations, as well as Universities including members of Model UN New Silk Road from Central Asia are expected to participate in a series of master classes and training modules in Zailiyski Alatau mountain area near Almaty city.
