On March 19, in the al-Farabi Library The Round Table "5 Social Initiatives of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was held. The event was organized under the auspices of the professional union of students "Sunkar" and "Students’ Senate." Leaders of youth movements and professional unions, activists and volunteers gathered at the Round Table.

The leaders of the student government made a presentation in which they spoke about the high efficiency of the steps proposed by the President for the development of the economy. The President's speech was repeatedly quoted.

Students, as future specialists, and those who create a young family, explained the figures from the first initiative on affordable mortgages "7 -20 - 25". Any citizen of Kazakhstan can buy affordable housing at 7% per annum, for a period of 25 years, with 20% of the initial deposit.

Speakers talked about the reduction of the tax burden, the expansion of microcredit, and the further gasification of the country, but, of course, the students were most concerned about the third initiative - proposal on the accessibility and improvement of the quality of higher education and improving the living conditions of student youth. The initiative to allocate additional 20,000 grants students met with glee. "This idea is very valuable for us, for studying young people," - said Shyryn Tlenchieva, deputy chairman of the “Sunkar” professional union of students. Also issues related to attracting investments in the construction of new hostels for students were touched.

"In my opinion, for all those who connect their destiny with Kazakhstan," - she continued, - "it becomes clear that all conditions for the well-being of the population are created. We must realize the goals set by the President, all this will eventually lead to strengthening the social orientation of our state.
