On September 28, 2023, from 10.00 to 18.00, the VIII international seminar “Logistics and Diplomacy” will be held at the Faculty of International Relations under the organization of the Institute for Security and Cooperation Studies at al-Farabi Kazakh National University, which is held jointly with the SEFACIL Foundation (France), the Center for Russian and Central Asian Studies (School of International Studies at J. Nehru University, India), LEXFEIM Research Center at the University of Le Havre Normandy (France). Previous seminars were held in Almaty in 2014, 2017 and 2021; in Bishkek in 2018 and 2022; in Tashkent in 2021; in Dushanbe in 2023.

The purpose of the seminar is to exchange opinions of experts on current issues of transit policy in Central Asian countries, discuss the role of diplomacy in solving logistics issues, as well as prospects for the development of its main directions. Foreign and Kazakh researchers, representatives of the academic and expert community, and practical workers will take part in the scientific seminar.
